Cruel February

This has been a most rather cruel February.

Actually, this has been the most cruel February in my life. Several bad things happened, which have left me in a state of profound confusion, sadness and a really thick, gray fog clouding my thoughts. Every aspect of my life was affected by one thing or another and just when I thought nothing worst could happen, it did.

I've been away, secluded into myself while I gather my thoughts and emotions and try to get back everything in one piece. Frustration and heartbreak have been poisoning me and I've been having a really hard time being my usually positive self.

Oh February, why did you bring so much evil and hurt?

March is finally here, and hopefully, things will start looking up again. I hope Spring eats away at the ice cold winter currently taking over my spirit.

Until then, stay true.

Forbidden Forest

jumping fences just to get into a thick forest surrounded by foliage, fallen trees, a carpet of rich brown leaves and the wind whispering to us through the branches. Sudden soft rain, taking pictures while running and laughing, waiting for rainfall to pass and then, going home.

Gold drenched days

like minded souls and sunray bathed fun amidst a vast expanse of green, laughter mingling the tree branches swaying to the rhythm of earth.

Windswept Fire

One lazy saturday walk through Paseo Cayalá, one of the city's newest malls, and then dinner somewhere else, with a friend. Like a flame, she is made of fire. This was the weekend that helped me take the decision to take back my happiness back from some evil-hearted people and situation I was living at the moment that was taking away all my energy, joie-de-vivre, and sanity, hence, there were no blogposts during pretty much all of November and early December.

Life is too short to waste it on things, jobs, relationships and people that do not make you happy:
we only have one life to live.

Then went for dinner to this new italian restaurant in town, Italianni's. Service, food, seasoning, price, everything was perfect.
